Rainbow’s End(彩虹尽头)

Rainbow’s End (2023) is a looped film of Niagara Falls and the surrounding city’s architectural elements. The mist from the falls is vividly tinted against the harshness of the built environment, thus bringing into focus a merging relationship between ethereal myth and concrete reality and between nature and man-made structures. The mist is both a concealment and an ephemeral material lacking a distinct form. It is both awe-inspiring and a product of the mighty waterfalls. The scenes simultaneously represent an endless cycle of human desire, euphoric and destructive.
